If I received a dollar each time I've been asked this question, I would not have to work anymore! You don't have to be or look like a supermodel for beautiful images. My superpower is in guiding you through this process so you will look and feel your best. During your photoshoot, I will guide you through your expressions and poses that best compliment you. My postprocessing will add final touches on images you love. I'll make you look natural and polished - getting rid of those things that generally aren't there, like blemishes.
I totally understand that. Very few people are naturally comfortable in front of the camera. It all comes down to trusting your photographer and feeling comfortable with them. My goal is to make you feel confident and relaxed during your photoshoot. I will guide you with posing, connection, and expressions. We'll also have a chat about which areas you want to emphasize and which ones you don't. I will incorporate all of your preferred aspects into your session, so you'll have the best portraits you've ever seen of yourself.
I recommend choosing outfits that reflect your personality and style. Anything from casual to dressy. Form-fitting clothes with texture look great in photos. Props, such as hats and scarves are also a really cool option if you're comfortable with them. I have a fabulous studio wardrobe available for additional options. The more effort you put into your wardrobe selection, the better your photoshoot will be. You can count on me for styling assistance.
My style is contemporary, classic, and timeless portraiture. I love simplicity and cohesiveness in my images. Connection is the most important element - I want to capture your confidence, soul, and beauty. I'm obsessed with black and white images, because they give such a timeless appeal. However, I also edit in color.
Within two weeks from your session, I will invite you to a private viewing and ordering appointment where you will see your best images. At this point, you will choose the images you love.

I recommend booking your photoshoot at least 4 to 5 weeks prior. That gives you enough time to set up any beauty appointments and consider your wardrobe selection.
